Code Of Conduct

The Organising Committee of Udbav reserves the right to dismiss any participant from the conference due to a violation of the following code of conduct. We expect you to adhere to the same with utmost level of professionalism.
1. Dress code:
1.1. Dress code for the event is Western/ Indian formals.

2. Non-negotiables:
2.1. Please identify a comfortable, quiet place to work in with minimal background disturbance.
2.2. In case of any connectivity issue, power cuts or any such problems at your end, kindly contact the logistics member present in the meeting through WhatsApp.
2.3. A WhatsApp group link will be shared with all the participants. These groups will be used for official communication.
2.4. The decisions of the judges will be final.
2.5. Participants are expected to adhere to the timings and be punctual.

3. Behavioural Conduct:
3.1. Keep yourself muted while others are speaking.
3.2. Restrict yourself to the use of appropriate language. Any inappropriate or vulgar language will not be tolerated.
3.3. All participants are expected to remain in the zoom meeting at all times.
3.4. Plagiarism and use of unfair means is not allowed and will lead to disqualification. Participants are allowed to paraphrase and/ or cite their sources, but no direct use is allowed.
3.5. Refrain from using the chatbox to supplement your arguments.

4. Technical Prequesites:
4.1. The event will be conducted on Zoom.
4.2. Please ensure that your device has a working microphone and camera.
4.3. Participants are expected to have a working internet connection and a backup (hotspot, UPS or dongle) at hand.
4.4. Username: All participants are required to rename themselves based on the codes provided, during the course of the conference.
4.4.1. In case you are applying as a team, rename yourself as [Team Name]_[Full Name].
4.4.1.2 Example: “The Fast and the Curious_Vidushi Binani”
